A Snow Dream Deferred

High: 48° F
Low: 29° F
Conditions: Sunny and crisp.
The early snow passed us by this week. But Northern and Western Maine received a fair amount--accumulations of 2-4 inches in some places.

Here's a photo we ran this summer of our favorite run at Sugarloaf Mountain:

Here's that same space today:

Winter must be near. In the meantime, we'll keep dreaming.

Ari looks a little miffed Kathryn. She needs her fix!

Ari looks disappointed. Maybe you shouldn't tell her it might snow next time - you know, to avoid the let down. Poor Ari. ;)

We didn't get snow in northeastern ME. I was looking forward to watching the young turkeys on their first adventure out.

My Human's gruff boss said he saw some snow flakes on Friday. I say "not enough!"

(I've had some great verification "words" this morning. Now it is SONAT.)

Ah, for me, that would be "Dreading!" Your high isn't even as warm as my low temps which have stayed in the 60's and caused me to turn my AC on at night! I'll enjoy your snow through the blogosphere. It's pretty to look at for sure. Tell Ari she can romp in it for me!
